HobbyTown Opens More Corporate Stores

HobbyTown has opened the third of five planned corporate stores in Pearland, Texas. Known for its franchise model, HobbyTown is expanding with corporately owned locations to focus on its branding and gain insights that help franchise owners succeed.

“We are opening up corporate stores so we can control the narrative at those stores and rebuild them in

the areas we think need good hobby shops,” AMain CEO Kevin Kiser said on the No Name RC Podcast. “Once we prove the new model works, we hope to grow the franchise network with better standard operating procedures for the stores.”
